Referencing client’s website & gathering and creating assets

I used the school website as the main reference for the school branding. I still have not been provided with the logo or the information. I think as a school they must be busy so I’m giving it some more time.

So far, I have picked out the main elements of their design. I’ve made a colour palette of the school’s main colours using Adobe colour and saved it to Creative Cloud in preparation. I also downloaded the school logo from the website as it looks like a good copy.

I’ve started recreating the assets from the website seeing as they can’t provide them for me. I took screenshots of them and put them into Adobe Illustrator to re-make them. Thanks to the colour palette colouring them didn’t take too long. I have made any assets that I think could be used. I made puzzle pieces which are featured in their logo and website. I also made the curved lines that are in the logo in case I can use them anywhere in the design. I can’t say it’s easy to replicate them but it’s my only option at this point.

Saving them takes a while because I have to export them individually with appropriate file names so they can be organised.
